The specialty calculation is based on the specialty listed in the “Primary Specialty” field of each work history entry. Our system will calculate and display the total number of months for your full-time specialty experience from the last 3 years. This recent experience is requested since our facility partners require at least 12 months of full-time specialty experience in the last 3 years. You may list any relevant specialties in the “Float Specialties” or in the “Additional Notes” fields to help provide context for your work experience, but these will not count towards the primary specialty experience calculation. Please note that any per diem experience will also not count towards the primary specialty experience calculation as the facilities are requesting full-time experience in the specialty.

What if I did different specialties at different times while at a single facility?
If you worked in different specialty units at a single facility, please add these as separate entries so that the work history dates and the relevant primary specialty are clearly delineated. Please also select the appropriate position title as you enter multiple work history entries.
