You may navigate to the “Experience” section of your profile to add your work history. We require you to list up to the last 7 years of your RN work history, and if you have fewer than 7 years, adding your work experience since graduation from nursing school is sufficient.
When adding your work history entries, please keep the following information in mind:
- Primary specialty: Indicate your primary specialty in the “Specialties” section of each experience entry. If you floated to other units, you may add that context to the “Additional Notes” section of the work history entry.
- Full-time vs. Per Diem: If you had both full-time and per diem employment at a specific facility, you may add these experiences as separate entries so that the work history dates are clearly delineated. Please be sure to select the appropriate position title as you enter multiple work history entries.
- Work Overlaps: In cases where you have work experience overlaps between multiple facilities, make sure to include any additional context about the timing between assignments in the “Additional Notes” section of the work history entry.
- Agency: If you worked a travel assignment with an agency, be sure to include the agency name in the “Additional Notes” section of your work experience. This will help us verify your work history quickly and get you to your next Nomad assignment!
These guidelines will help to provide our team with all of the necessary information in a correctly formatted and ready-to-submit structure so that we can present your application to the facility as swiftly as possible.
