Prophecy testing is a tool used to assess core clinical, situational, and behavioral competencies for nurses. There are two types of Prophecy exams you will need to complete, which are done at different stages.
After you submit an application for our team to review, you will be emailed Prophecy log in credentials to complete the self-assessment checklist in the specialty that you applied for. A score above 2.7 (out of 4.0) is considered proficient, and receiving a lower score will prohibit you from applying for a job in that specialty for the next 6 months.
Once you complete a prophecy checklist, it can be used as part of your future applications to the same specialty for the next 12 months. If you’ve already completed your checklist with another agency, feel free to email yours to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can upload it to your account for you.
If you have signed a contract with us and are now in the credentialing process, you will be sent a few Prophecy assessments to complete using the same login credentials you used during the applications phase. For these tests, you will need to score 80% or above to successfully complete credentialing and start your assignment.
You will only receive two attempts to fill out a Prophecy Exam, and if you do not meet the proficient score, your assignment will be cancelled. You will not be allowed to apply for or work for jobs in that specialty for the next 6 months through our platform. After that time, you may re-apply for jobs in that specialty on Nomad.
Similar to the checklists, if you have completed the assessments in the past 12 months, they can be used for future applications. Go ahead and send them to email@example.com if you have them!
