You’ve accomplished the hardest part - completing the application! Here is an overview of what comes next:
Submission to Facility
We’ll take a look at your application to make sure it’s complete. If so, we send it to the facility for them to take a look at. To expedite this process, please make sure that you fill the skills checklist we sent to you and remind your supervisory references to complete the reference form as quickly as possible. Facilities will not consider your applications until the above are complete and your references have been contacted.
If the facility believes your background matches their needs, you can expect a phone interview with a hiring manager. After you complete your skills checklist and we’ve gotten in touch with your references, it can take as little as a few hours to receive a call or as long as a week. Be patient, but don’t hesitate to reach out to your Nomad Navigator for updates!
Your interview went well and the facility has extended an offer! A Nomad Navigator will email you the basic details (i.e. compensation, time off, scheduling, etc.) to review. Once all parties are aligned, Nomad will send you the official contracts and onboarding information to sign.
You can expect to receive a compliance checklist shortly after signing the offer. All items generally must be completed and sent in a week before the start date of your assignment. It is critical to work closely with Nomad to ensure your start date isn’t pushed back due to an incomplete credentialing packet.
At this point, hopefully, you will have gotten the job and will be starting your new assignment! But if not, don’t fret! Once you have submitted an application on Nomad, you can easily apply for other jobs using the information you already gave us. All you need to do is visit the description page for another job you’re interested in and click that “Apply to Job” button!
