Application Review
Once you’ve submitted your application, our Nomad Navigators will review your application. Common application issues include the Work History, Incomplete References, Facility Type Experience, and completing your Relias Checklist. You will receive an email with all of the items that need to be clarified or corrected. It is important to correct these issues in a timely manner for quick submission as positions are filled quickly. If you are unresponsive or don’t meet the facility’s requirements for the job, your application will be closed and you will be sent a follow-up email.
Submission to Facility
Once your application has been reviewed by our Clinician Review Operations team, they will reach out to you to let you know if there are any further pending requirements needed. It is important to complete all requirements ASAP to speed up submission time. If there are no additional requirements needed, we will submit your application to the respective facility. If the facility wants to extend an offer, you can expect to hear back from them within 7-10 days from the time your application was submitted. If you do not hear from them within that time frame, the facility has decided to go with another candidate.
Interview
If the facility believes your background matches their needs, you can expect the facility to reach out to you for a phone interview with a hiring manager. After you complete your skills checklist and your references are qualified, you should expect facility contact within the week.
Offer
If the facility chooses to extend an offer, a Nomad Navigator will email you the basic offer details (i.e. compensation, time off, scheduling, etc.) to review. Once all parties are aligned, Nomad will send you the official contracts and onboarding information to sign. There will be a 1-4 day period between receiving a verbal offer from the facility and the written offer from Nomad.
Credentialing
You can expect to receive a compliance checklist shortly after signing the offer. All items generally must be completed and sent in a week before the start date of your assignment. It is critical to work closely with Nomad to ensure your start date is not pushed back due to an incomplete credentialing packet.
On Assignment
Once your assignment begins, you will be assigned a Nomad Navigator who will be your main point of contact for the duration of your assignment. Your Nomad Navigator will be there for you for any questions or concerns you might have about the facility, assignment, insurance, or payment issues.
